However, the name Albino A+ is misleading because this is not a true albino variety, but a leucistic one. To explain, the difference between albino and leucistic is the fact that albinos completely lack all pigmentation, while leucistic varieties retain the dark color pigments in their spores. Despite this, they the specimens are still a beautiful white to creamy color.
