Spores of this historical selection are direct descendants of the original collection of a single mushroom found outside of Tampa, Florida in 1977 by Steven Pollock. It wasn’t collected in Florida again until 44 years later.<\/p>\n

Once considered extremely rare, it is now known to be synonym with\u00a0Psilocybe atlantis\u00a0<\/i>from Georgia, based on recent genetic tests.<\/p>\n

Forms sclerotia “philospher’s stones” in culture.<\/p>\n
