Moringa oleifera is a soft wood, drought hardy deciduous tree native to central Asia. The leaf’s, roots, and green seed pods are consumed for a variety of medicinal and culinary purposes due in part to its high levels of vitamins and proteins. Moringa is not cold hardy so if you live in an area that experiences heavy frost it may be best to move the plant indoors for the winter.
