Enigma Spores: Syringes, Prints & Isolates
Enigma is a Psilocybe cubensis mutation that does not form a normal mushroom. Instead it grows as dense, brain-like blobs with no cap, no stem and no gills. It arose as a mutation in Tidal Wave and has been kept going as a culture since, because a form with no gills almost never produces spores.
That is why Enigma is listed differently from other strains: it is usually sold as cultures or swabs rather than spore syringes, and a vendor offering Enigma spores should be able to say where they came from. For a collector the interest is the culture itself and its pedigree rather than a print. Look for the isolate name and the source culture on the label.
