Jack Frost is an albino Psilocybe cubensis cross, usually said to be Albino Penis Envy crossed with True Albino Teacher. The pedigree is widely repeated but not formally documented. The name comes from the fruit: white throughout, with caps that often take on a frosted, crystalline look as they mature.
Because both parents are albino lines, the print is faint, near colourless on paper and foil, so syringes look clear. The spores themselves are standard cubensis, subellipsoid and roughly 11 to 17 by 7 to 10 micrometres. Jack Frost is popular enough that most vendors carry it; the label should say whether it is a multispore syringe, an isolate or a swab, and give the F-generation if known.
Every Jack Frost listing above comes from an independent vendor who prepared it, and the vendor's country, shipping regions and real customer reviews are on their store page. Labels tell you what you are getting: a multispore syringe carries many genetic individuals, an isolate (ISO) is a single worked line, and prints and swabs are the dry, long-life formats. Isolated vs multispore syringes explains the difference, how to store spore syringes covers shelf life, and how to use a spore syringe for microscopy walks through the slide. Buying in the UK?
