He took spores collected by Yoshi and Jordan Jacobs from different localities in Mexico, isolated monokaryons, and paired them to produce this beautiful zap! These new "locality outcrosses" seem to outperform the parent constituents in terms of speed, tenacity to produce fruit, and basically every other category.
