About Psilocybe mexicana

Psilocybe mexicana is the grassland species from which psilocybin was first isolated in the 1950s, after Roger Heim's collections in Mexico. It is a small, slender mushroom that also forms sclerotia. Spores are subellipsoid to rhomboid and the print is purple-brown.

Each listing above is sold by the vendor who prepared it; the vendor's country, shipping regions and real customer reviews are on their store page. A multispore syringe, print or swab carries many genetic individuals, an isolate (ISO) is one worked line, and liquid culture and agar plates are living mycelium rather than spores. Isolated vs multispore explains the labels, how to use a spore syringe for microscopy covers the slide, and how to store spore syringes covers shelf life. Buying in the UK?
