About Psilocybe tampanensis
Psilocybe tampanensis was first collected near Tampa, Florida, in 1977 (the Pollock collection) and has very rarely been found in the wild since; almost everything in circulation descends from that one find. It is known for forming sclerotia. Spores are subellipsoid with a purple-brown print.
