About Psilocybe zapotecorum
Psilocybe zapotecorum is a Mexican species named for the Zapotec people of Oaxaca, recorded from humid ravines and stream banks in southern Mexico and further south into South America. It is a large, strongly bluing mushroom. The print is purple-brown and the spores are relatively small and thin-walled for the genus.
