Albino A+ Spores: Syringes, Prints & Isolates

Albino A+ is a leucistic line of the A+ cubensis strain, with pale, near white fruit and a lighter print. Despite the name it is usually classed as leucistic rather than fully albino, since a faint print can still be collected. AA+ is one of the older pale lines in circulation and predates most of the modern albino crosses. The origin of A+ itself is unclear.

The print is pale, lighter than a standard cubensis, so a syringe looks thin. Spores are subellipsoid, about 11 to 17 by 7 to 10 micrometres. Albino A+ is sold as multispore syringes and prints as well as isolates, which is unusual for a pale line, so the label should say which. The pigmented A+ is listed separately by many vendors.
