Penis Envy Uncut Spores: Syringes, Prints & Isolates
Penis Envy Uncut is a sub-line of Penis Envy in which the cap stays closed over the stem rather than opening, so the gills are never exposed. The name refers to that closed cap. It is usually said to have been selected from a Penis Envy line by a hobbyist; the history is not documented beyond that.
Because the cap does not open, Uncut sporulates even less than standard Penis Envy, so prints are rare and most material is sold as isolate syringes or swabs. Where spores are present they are standard cubensis: purple-brown in mass, subellipsoid, about 11 to 17 by 7 to 10 micrometres. The label should name the sub-line clearly, since several PE variants exist.
