Pink Buffalo is a Psilocybe cubensis strain with a Thai origin story: the usual account is a collection from Koh Samui, found near a buffalo that the collector, often named as John Allen, took as a lucky sign. The story is repeated on most listings and is folkloric in its details. The caps are often described as having a pink to reddish tint.
Under the microscope it is a standard cubensis, with a purple-brown print and subellipsoid spores around 11 to 17 by 7 to 10 micrometres. Pink Buffalo is sold mostly as multispore syringes and prints, with the odd isolate; look for the generation and for ISO or multispore on the label.
Every Pink Buffalo listing above comes from an independent vendor who prepared it, and the vendor's country, shipping regions and real customer reviews are on their store page. Labels tell you what you are getting: a multispore syringe carries many genetic individuals, an isolate (ISO) is a single worked line, and prints and swabs are the dry, long-life formats. Isolated vs multispore syringes explains the difference, how to store spore syringes covers shelf life, and how to use a spore syringe for microscopy walks through the slide. Buying in the UK?
