Isolate (ISO) provided in sterile aqueous solution using 10cc Luer-Lok syringes. One 1.5in 16ga needle will be provided for each syringe. Comments: El Choco was isolated in 2020 by Dave Wombat from the TAT Syndicate Facebook group, as a random mutation of the common B+ variety. El Choco exhibits a very unique phenotype—generally squat carpophores with chocolate brown pileus and gills. Needless to say, the genetics of this one are fascinating. The fruiting body bears a striking resemblance to Shiitake (Lentinula edodes) when young. Habitat: Bovine, Equine Dung and Enriched Soils Climate: Subtropical Strain Origin: TAT Cap: Up to 50+ mm in diameter, hemispheric, then broadly convex at maturity occasionally with slight umbo.
